PETALING JAYA: The government must officially respond to the incident of Chinese nationals waving their national flag at a parade in Teluk Intan, Perak, as its silence may allow the situation to escalate, says Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association president Mint Leong.
The relevant parties need to take measures to stop the issue, because the controversy will harm the tourism industry by provoking negative sentiments in related countries,” she told reporters here
